I Need To Know...

All about the (stock) Axial SCX24 (runtime (important to me), charge time, free upgrades, etc). What are some instant upgrades I should do? Do they do well with water? Should I put grease in the axles out of the box? Please help me out. Thanks.

My AX24 XC-1 runtime is well over 30mins. Same crawler as the SCX24 just 4 wheel steering. It's fun. I've done a few upgrades- body, wheels & tires.

This is barely 1/2 speed. It was on 75% on the TX & on 100% & WOT it goes pretty good.

I dunno what WOT is, but it seems pretty good. Does seem like it struggles a bit when turning, though.

WOT=Wide Open Throttle. I rarely use the 4WS. I have no vids with the Tusk tires. It doesn't struggle with them. I've taken it to the beach & it did good.

@Doom! & @WickedFog have some really awesome 24 scale trucks, i have a few I'm not knocking them at all but they seem to be lackluster for me personally, my son absolutely loves his, and id be lying if i didnt admit to crawling them whenever i get the chance lol
i bring a c10 and an ax24 with me to a lot of the jobs i do and will just run em on my down time for funsies.
I've seen some powerhouse rigs at a show tho that were total machines! weight to em, could crawl damn near anything, compact.
the furytek systems seem to be the go to for them
if you're looking for one to play with on yuor travels @ZaneC you can make a course out of literally anything hell I've climbed curbs in parking lots before
i had difficulties everytime i tried to upgrade mine and the best running one we have is my sons stock AX24,
the batteries are hella small and can easily charge in the cars charger p[ort if ya got one so it can charge during your drive, pack a few batteries nd swap em in and out can crawl for a long time.
i hope you get one cause i dig your builds bro
