Got the order placed I added that battery hump pack you suggested as well (the venom). The only thing I didnt get is the muffler which I am regretting now lol

any other upgrades you guys can suggest! Really love tinkering with this thing.

While I hear you guys on the fuel I am currently sticking with the Traxxas brand just because i'm a "noob"...

People have argued fuel since nitro first started. Everyone has a preference but it can vary according to the tune or the engine. I used to spend a lot of time at a local track when they were close to me and I had a Tmaxx at the time. I started with the .15 short A-arm model and later converted to the 2.5 engine. I ran Blue Thunder and had the fastest Maxx at the track.
Soon other guys started asking me to tune their Maxxes, and I started wondering why they could actually out run mine.
One of them suggested it might be the fuel since he was running Traxxas Top Fuel. I got a fill-up from him, and by the second tank I had gotten a good re-tune on mine and it really made a noticeable difference.
Say what you want about Top Fuel, but Traxxas engines LOVE it!

I've always used this Model Technics 20% stuff, you can only get it in the U.K so I always say Byrons on forums (Heard very good things about it) but for me the Model Technics stuff made a HUGE difference than this other cheap rubbish- It always starts first or second pull now :)

That's a whole different story. THAT'S an HPI.
That's an HPI?- shouldn't it be: that's A HPI (an only if there's a vowel)
#grammar nazi

There are different rules that apply to certain words beginning with "H". Probably because it SOUNDS like it begins with a vowel. (Ayche) ...and also because the H is often silent.
ie. "He's an honorable man". NOT "He's A honorable man."
However, there's also this..."He's a History major."

H can be a tricky letter, but you're still wrong. It's an HPI. :celebrate:

Ok.....Still sounds wrong in my opinion. Well then, Mr <Insert some sort of word to describe an English "expert" here> would it be a U.K or an U.K, technically it's it would be an U.K but it sounds wrong. (Me and my friend were arguing about this earlier)

Tenergy is pretty good quality for the price. I've not used my RX pack much...most of my RX packs are ones I've gotten parted out of losi kits off of ebay but i did use tenergy cells to repacks all 3 of my cordless drill battery packs and the 2200mAh cells only lost about 100mAh after about 1.5 to 2 years of occasional use.

English Major
He's a United Kingdom citizen. (Why 'a' instead of 'an'? Because it sounds like it begins with the consonant
'Y'. He's AN United Kingdom citizen is just wrong. Pretty much the same rule as the H.
He has a Yellow shirt. He has a Uniform.

@Rdizz I have that stand. Great unit and I highly recommend it. Also good for parking your ride on to let the suspension relax.

Doesn't lock, as I recall, but it's not a spinner either. Good for the price. Here's the costly one....

Yes, in the case of United Kingdom it's simple, but for U.K...well...forget it I'l be normal and just say the U.k.

Looks like some reviews say it spins and does not lock =/ .... really don't want to spend 70$ on a stand.

I have one. It works but I would recommend a better one. It also wobbles slightly but its not a lot. Mine may just have a slight defect in it too though, I'm not 100% sure.

Your right that it doesn't lock but it does spin. Thats the main thing i dont like about mine.

Make one!

PVC is cheap, and if you don't have a PVC cutter, a hack saw will do just fine.

Made more for a savage but it kinda gives you something to make your own off of for your particular rig, I have made this stand almost exactly like it is shown and It can still be used for other cars/trucks when turned sideway and set on the long lower runners, fits my RS4 MT perfect.. The "H" on each upper end that the savage's chassis sits on pops right off.

Could just replace the first upright tee fitting with an elbow, and raise the deck height to your liking.

I am so horrible at building things lol...

but that looks very simple. Just need to build a stand with some holes for shocks and tools eh.

Shameless plug on an awesome paint job lol

I contemplated replacing a couple tees with 4 ways and extending lengths of pipe out away from the stand with holes in them for holding tools but after I thought about it I figured who was I kidding, in the midst of a job I would just lay the tool down on the work surface. But as long it doesn't get glued, it can be altered or upgraded at a later date as the user sees fit. Then finish it off with some spray on bed-liner.

Its super simple, but if one is not hand tool savvy, I would highly recommend picking up a ratcheting PVC cutter, they can be had on Amazon for as little as $6 and will make the job much less of a headache, and less room for error. Plus they make perfect straight cuts with zero effort. They will run $10-15 at your local Home Depot/Ace Hardware so if you don't find your self working with PVC much, and only plan on using it once find the cheapest one possible. Harbor freight sells one too on the cheap with decent ratings if you have a HF in your area.

A ten foot section of 1/2in Schedule40 and the fittings needed will be no more than ten bucks.

And I have faith that if you have the patience for a nitro car, you can work your way through that stand!
