I highly recommend the V1 tread pattern with SLW for low grip conditions that most folks are probably bashing around with. I run Medium which is great for higher grip prepped tracks.

Commercials have never bothered me. I use this time to go to the bathroom, get something to eat/drink, check my phone/RCT, etc.

Commercials nowadays are freaking terrible. I can't stand watching them either. It's either some medication, or some medication, or some medication, followed by some woke bullcrap that I don't want on my tv.

For me, the pause button is not the same. I don't have control of commercials, and it forces me to take "a break". I find being engrossed into a movie/show a bit taxing. I can't really explain it, but that's just how my short attention span brain is built.
While I like(?) the commercial breaks, I actually don't really pay attention to the commercials themselves. Like I already mentioned, I take that time to do/fidget with something else.

I really hate being a couch potato. But that's the hand I've been dealt. I went in the RC room yesterday and installed two extended axles (driver side) in the 6x6. By the time I was done with that, I had to take a break. A few hours later I installed the other two. But that is about the extent of my ability to sit upright in a chair. 20 minutes at a time tops. It kills me that I have a ton of desire to go work on stuff, and can't. I've thought about bringing the projects to my recliner, but I'd have screws and all kinds of crap getting lost forever.

Yeah, I tell Grey all the time I really miss working. I loved my career. I miss taking a blueprint or computer 3d model and making it into a tangible object. 3d printing fills that void some, but only when my printers are functional

I always carry 6 bins of wheels and 1 bin of spare parts to every race event I attend, 2 bins for buggy and 4 bins for truggy, I just finished unpacking from RC Pro Series Round#6, and this photo doesn't include the 6 other bins of unglued wheels in the closet!
