Ima sucker for barrel burners

I'm slowly gathering parts to spin up a 22 creed. It should run an 88gr eld around 3400fps. I can't really run anything bigger than 60 gr in my swift (1978 ish M77 varmint). I might try to get some 62 gr barnes tsx's to group when I get some range time. I think I can get them up in the 3500fps range.
My 223 ackley gets the most love, though. It'll move 75 gr amax's at 2950. On 25-ish grains of powder.
I ain't sure if I'll get an archery season this year. My neck is pretty far from ok for carrying a pack or drawing more than 40-50#...
Guy's gotta eat
Lately I prolly spend 15-20 days a year chasing elk, a week or so on speed goats, and an occasional day or three hunting deer. Maybe a week glassing black bears in the spring. Before kids it was more like I was home 2 days a week in September, and 5 days a week in the backcountry with a bow (and way too many G bears).
The last couple years- thanks to on-x, I've punch a tag or two on my way home from the jobsite during rifle season. It's handy, but kinda cuts into hunting time with extra butchering
