I got this truck in parts and i have to rebuild it now.

I didn't know it wobbled like this until i got it home.
hammer straighten them.
 
this will leak silicone oil if i use it...i can tell.
probably will get new 8 or 10mm shocks for it.

Fun project.
it doesn't need much in parts and i still have to do a local part order it won't take long also the engine runs good on the bench..
it just need,
shocks
just a few new bearings
blocks and pins for CVD's
Front diff case..and that's why the shaft's are bent from the previous owner drunk driving skills.
 
I like this Truck and i haven't even driven it yet.
i like the flat big chassis & 4 wheel drive.
This is a pic before dissembling it but if i replace the steering servo i would need to "mod" the mount as well because the stock servo steering servo is smaller than a upgraded one like a Savox.

this is the same Savox servo in the shorty but it's not a direct fit for this truck.
the stock servo in it now needs a new horn and there's some play in it i would rather replace it with the new Savox.
sucks that the Savox don't drop straight in.

the stock steering servo sounds nasty.

Hey thanks i will do a Park video for sure.
Those gears that run of the engine to the center diff turn over like new and smooth, it makes a big difference how it will accelerate.
It wouldn't be difficult to mod the steering/throttle bracket mount with all that room.

the wheels won't fit there 24mm and HSP use 22mm wheel hex hub what a suck they had to be different.

HPI hex hubs can be used to replace the HSP hex hubs as the shafts are 12mm as well so these wheels can now be put back on.
