i was wondering if there is a os .30 that would fit on the revo? amd how you would mount it since the carb seems to match up with the revo linkages.
and what would you reccomend for a better engine ugrade , I'm running an os 18 now, i've seen a sirio .23 for 70$ and axial one, but i'm not sure which is good or not.

Are you just looking for bragging rights being able to say you have a .30 in your revo?

I run a Os 18tm and its waaay more power then I need but it wont rip the truck to shreds like that os30 will If there is a way to get it to fit.

Sorry I couldn't help just wondering if you think the 0s18tm is lacking power.

nono , i dont even have an os30 , i was wondering how they mount it on there, cause i noticed that the carb slide is pointing more upwards and the revo engine its pointing down picco.webp

kind of like in this picture. but then i found out that you can loosen the screw and turn it to your liking. thats what i was told.
i dont find it to be lacking power, just trying to find out what would be a good next engine.

well, this has been brought up a thousand times. Bigger isnt better. can you say shredded tires, tranny, clutch shoes, and burned out rear diffs? too much power.

just trying to get advice.picco .26maxx is a much better one from what i've been hearing

Just for future reference, the thing your talking about sticking up will rotate 360 degrees on most engines. The carbs on almost all engines will flip as well.

Now, getting that kind of power to the ground in a revo... that's a whole other problem.

I had a mild BB in mine running the new era leaner mount and a side pipe (duratrax warhead header/pipe worked well) and I couldn't hardly control the thing. It was fun for a while, but not very long. Just wheelies all the time, even with a 3.3 chassis and relatively tall gearing. Top speed was way too fast for where I have to run, but lower gearing made first gear pretty much useless.

To each his own. The link I put will get you a BB installed pretty easily. I'd suggest buying your own flywheel nut though. The one they include sucks butt. The flywheel nut on the 2.5 or 3.3 will fit pretty much only the 18TM.

I have put my 18TM back in and now it's driveable and fun again. But I still don't drive it... I have my heavily upgraded aftershock absorbing all my free time. I may pull out the revo again in the winter...

This is my 3.3 chassis revo with a XTM 24.7, duratrax warhead header/pipe and the NE BB conversion:

a .30 may rip your diffs apart.
As olds says it's way more power than you would want bashing.
I mainly race but i have a friend who has a xtm x-cellerator with a .18 engine and the more bottom end is so much fun. I use .21 race engines and they are mint but for bashing i would definitly get a .18 they are simply so much fun, runish for racing IMO but great for bashing
