Hanging them off a pegboard. O.K. for 1/10 or smaller scales. -AC

Hanging 'em up works great for lighter electric cars - here's my Kyosho Pegasus, it's evil twin, and a no-name buggy in my garage.

Depending on hygiene, hanging a nitro car could get a bit messy. I think I need to clean this mess up and reclaim this bench and area for the R/Cs, install some shelves, and. Just gotta be careful, since this is butted right up in the general area.

With the wheels/tires removed , is there any danger of hurting A-arms or anything if the chassis is resting on a towel?
Justbe sure your wheel nuts are back on so that the hexes and anyhex hardware can't fall out and get lost.
Not sure if your truck uses axle thru-pins for hexes. 😉👍

I've got plenty of RCs. Theyre just sitting all over the place lol
I think I'm moving the whole R/C show into the basement. Way more room and pegboard, cabinets, work surfaces already there. Basement needs cleaned, painted etc. tho.
Def need to improve heat too.
I've been attempting to clean here. Its laughable. Unless we start eating Kyosho Flakes for breakfast, I need to find a better solution. 🤣

Well, finally did it. I have a good answer to my own question. Today my hubby and I worked on getting all the 1/10s on their shelves. The shelves I ordered on Etsy were great. Slight oversight on my part (I should have measured the width of my stadium truck), 3 of the shelves I ordered weren't long enough.

That meant modifications were needed! After cleaning the work bench (much needed) I got to sawing some scrap particle board we had lying around and created and additional 3 inches for the shelf.

With the extra 1/4" thickness of the particle board I had to create a recess for the mounting screw. Added some countersink so the screws would sit flush then painted the boards black.

Voila! All the rigs fit! Now I can admire my collection of 1/10's while I poorly sew a bike frame bag, dog harness, the backpack I've barely started, etc. 😆
The upper left is reserved for the RC10 buggy I got from @9x19. The lower left will be my race SCT or Buggy (still deciding the build), but will have those sweet electrics from @jojobeans.

Shelf queens are all on display shelves in the basement.

Up in my garage I have been using stands to help with not flat spotting the tires and weakening the shocks/springs.

I have a little work station plus some carts that I use as workstations as well.

I was just about to ask where you keep the new arrivals but I see you bought a 1:1 for proper storage of your runners! 🤣
I don't have words really for how impressed I am by that collection but 'WOW!!!!" Ok, 'WOW WOW WOW!!!" 😲

Yeah, I think there might be funhouse mirrors involved here! I can't even count that high!!! 🤣

That looks incredible!
I'm very much Rookie status compared to your setup 😅

I like those shelves! You have plenty of time to get your walls reinforced if you ever choose to try and hang 8,000,000 RC's from your walls! 😎😁
