Hi all,
So I've been trying to figure out the best way to store my RCs. I've looked into purchasing some kind of wall mount, which can be spendy or just building a shelf. I'm trying to fit cars from 1/24 to 1/10 scale.

Biggest thing is finding (or building) something so I don't eventually get flat spots on my tires.

Thanks!

I find these modular wire racks ideal for all sorts of storage and "active use" organization.

These are the 12x48" ones, and you can also "link" several of them side by side to create continuous racks.

By placing them a few inches away from the wall, you can let the backs of the RC's hang, it just perfectly supports the wheelbase of my 1/10ths (250-270mm)

As for tires, I try to rotate them every once in a while, you can put extra / junk wheels under the chassis to hold it up, or put "display wheels" on that you don't mind flat-spotting and swap out before use.

On the bench, under the bench, randomly throughout the house in living room, play room, mud room, boys bedroom 🤣
My current status on storing as well...
On the sewing table, office desk, Kitchen table...😆

We do have that exact shelf, that may be my best option for now :)

Spray can caps will hold a chassis up and they come in all sorts of fancy colors! 😎
I have some of those wire racks in my work shop.
I have used those and plastic shelving from harbor freight with good luck! The wire shelves are super sturdy and hold a lot of weight. 👍

Can I buy the Kyosho stands by the dozen? ❤️😎😍 Very nice!!! 👍
Umm... I know a guy... 😉
If you find someone to print them, I will send you the files. If I start seeing them all over the internet I hire a hitman 😁

I have one of @WickedFog's stands and they are cool. :)
Oh yeah! The one and only RCT stand 😁

Is it holding up ok? I had one stand warp on me for some strange reason. I am pretty sure it was a bad roll of filament because I ended up pitching that roll. But I think that was long after I printed that one you won.

I need to put something else together to toss in another giveaway.

I know a guy who knows a guy... 🤣 Let me verify the offer is still open. A co worker of Mrs Certified who is interested in rc and offered printing in the past.
Thanks!!! 👍😎

Seriously, I don't mind giving any files away that I create. But I no longer share openly on the internet because Creality stole my design off Thingiverse and started selling it before someone called them out for it. Then Creality went on their FB group and tried to give a reward to another guy that added my exact design to his designs. They ended up rewarding me one of their $1000 S5 printers, which is my big boy. But they have made thousands and thousands off of my design. Freakin' thievin' Chinese manufacturers 🤬
My design with carbon fiber tubes.

Their inferior ripoff with crappy 2 piece tubes.

I'm glad you got something out of it at least! 👍
