how do i post pictures?

i really want to show off my cars, but how do i post them to the thread?

u hit post reply, click the img button, right click your pic and hit properties and copy the address and put it in the supplied box then hit ok:tophat:

well go to Gallery in the top of the page, then go to Upload photos on the page. make sure the pic are saved to ur comp. then once they get loaded to the site u can rihgt click ont he pic go to properties, copy the link. then when u want to post click on the IMG box and paste ur link in..

nope.. did u load them to the RCNT site.. here? https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=3429&cat=500&thumb=1 make sure u click on MY Gallery (as in ur own gallery) then click on Upload Photos over to the right of the screen. then after clicking on UPLOAD PHOTOS click on Browse and find ur photo on ur comp.. then click UPLOAD/SUMBIT. then once ur pic is loaded, right click on the photo.. go to Properties. then highlight the ADDRESS/ URL. by triple clicking on it(click 3 times fast.. oo lol.). then it should be highlighted blue, right click on that and go to copy.. then in the post go to the IMG and right click in the empty space and go to PASTE. and u should be all set.

am i SOL becuase my camera can only go 680x480 and rcnt only allows 480x480, maniam screwed, i really wanted to show off my car, is there any thing i can do?? it says my picture is too big!!

right click the pic, it should show a www address and copy paste it in the img box. thats what i do and it works=devil :w00t:

You could resize your picture in a picture editing program. Also, I see that you're trying load it straight from your computer. Nope, can't be done that way. Your picture has to be posted somewhere on the web. Load it up to RCNT after you resize it. If you still have probs resizing it PM me, I'll do it for you then you can upload it to your gallery.

You can also use paint to resize it. What kind of camera do you have? Most digital cams have the editing software included in the instal CD.

I had the same sizing problem. It's an easy fix though. You can use almost any image editor to resize the pic. Just keep making it a little smaller, until you can get it uploaded to the site.

right click on it (not the thumb image) and get the properties. Copy that and click the IMG tag, paste the location there and then poast as usual

As Diver mentioned, get the URL from the properties of the image in your gallery.

Stick said URL between [I'm G] and [/I'm G]. (note: remove the spaces between the M and the G in each tag).

Then submit your post. The image will show up. It should look alot like this:
