How do i clean gunk out of the cooling head??

As the title states.

I've had my buggy pulled apart, getting parts and goodies on thurs bla bla etc
may as well clean it good
So, how do i get gunk out of the engine cooling head?
I've heard you can put some nitro down there and let it soak?
Around the glow plug is where i need to clean.
No air compressor either

good question, i was wondering this also.

But keyboard cleaner, its just air, just blow it in it i think, but I'm not sure..

Engine Brite at any auto parts store seems to work wonders for me. You spray Engine brite on it and let it sit for a few minutes then hose the thing off. Removal of the cooling head is required though. I tape up the mating surface of the head to prevent it from dinging up since it is aluminum.

You can use nitro cleaner. I don't personally like to buy the stuff but without a compressor it might be the best choice.

yea thats a good idea because i bought a can of that compressed air and it couldnt blow a grain of sand off my rig. it was horrible lol

Please stop suggesting this, it is NOT a good way of cleaning any part of an r/c, especially the engine!

Without an air compressor, the Nitro Blast is probably your best bet.

Brake cleaner. Just make sure it doesn't get on the plastic or rubber.

hey didnt mean to take the thread but i didnt want to start a new thread over a quick simple question. on the controller with the throttle trim and steering trim which way is 0? all the way up or all the way down i have no idea thanks alot

Nah, just make sure you screw the screws in one on the right side first, then one on the left, then the rest

The .. is 1 bolt.
