Hobbywing Max10 G1 cutting out / cogging issue

Took the motor apart. Would take the other side off if I had a Allen key or driver smaller than 1.5mm.

Back 2 washers were bent so I bent them back as best as I could and put it back together

Ran it. No cog out issues. Did seem a bit faster too.

Gonna see if I can find the size of those washers to replace them.

But for now I call it fixed. Will do another test tomorrow.

Here's the weird thing. That voltage drop is still apparent

If your wanting battery results. Both of these Zeee packs have been sitting for a half our. Both at 3.8v/cell. One battery reads both cells at 1.0.miliohms and the other pack is 1.0 and 1.4 milliohms.

Yea took it out today and... It came back. Probably the motor.

Gonna put the 10bl120 G2 3660 3700kv combo on my wishlist for this. Hopefully to get it soon, and all my other needs so I can bash in the nice fall weather. ( @Lostinthewoods86 , since we were talking about this earlier, when I get it I'll let you know how it is 😉 )

After 2 years of heavy abuse on this system, I'm not mad at all. Just a bit frustrating.

Maybe for the time being when I can rack up 90 bucks, I can put a brushed titan motor back in. It gonna be so slow though 🤣

Edit: might get the 3652, idk. Since the 3660 would be better for bashing, but the 3652 would be better for the track. Idk.

Those rotor washers that are bent act as spacers. Theyre supposed to be bent like that.

You plannin' on that 3660 3700kv motor being in you Rustler? You the man .

Do you ever try a known good motor on your ESC to see if things act the same way?
