Just wanted to give a shout out to Horizon Hobby for standing behind their product, re: Spektrum Smart charger.
I stored my RC trucks for the last three months or so and thought it might be a good idea to charge the batteries up some just to keep them viable.
Pulled my S155 charger out and it wouldn't work. Got my paperwork out and find out it's still in warranty by about two weeks. I contact them and they asked for a video of it now working. Shot a couple of videos this morning and sent them off. They suggested I update the firmware of the charger and that didn't help either. So, they're sending me a new one.
That is the way you keep a customer happy and for returning sales too.
I know a lot of you guys poo-poo smart chargers, but this grandpa appreciates the ease with which they work.

I agree, how a company backs up their product is huge. Good to hear. I recently built a redcat product and was missing 1 of the 4 tiny bushings that puts pressure on the oring at the base of the shock reservoir. I did have to file a warranty claim through the website, but they sent me 4 new complete shocks minus the springs. No charge, no problems.

Wanted to update this thread.
I received my new replacement charger from Horizon.
My old one never worked the way this new one did when I plugged it in so it must have had issues from the get go.
Thanks again Horizon.
