I found this interesting and hopefully some of you might. I was nice to learn about the progression the buggy went through and to see where it is at today.

Buggy Musem

Sweet link man, Well done ! I bet some of those buggies are worth more than any two of my "up to date" machines. I would have thought that it started here in the U.S., go figure.

Those buggies with only the roll cage look mean as hell. I would love it if someone came out with a newer buggy that had a similar type rollcage. Hmmmm maybe a smell a cool project......A CYBERBUGGY!!!!!

Gosh, that link brings back memories, I remember the '86 gas buggy with the crazy roll cage. Those Mugen Super Sport and Kyosho MKII Stinger, and Turbo Burns/BX in the early 90s were absolutely awesome and ahead of the time back then and wonder how the Turbo Burns would hold up to today's buggies, great link.

I've been looking for an Inferno MP5 myself to collect and they're hard to find. I bet the Turbo Burns is next to impossible to find these days.

Great link Blazer. The buggy has come so far. It would be cool to do some comparisons.

Crap! It seems to be gone now. :(

I guess it is. Sorry I saw it there Friday, looks like that inventory moves quickly.:sorry:

I just saw this thread...Great link. I love old RC stuff. It is so cool to see the progression

I have a few lovely Tamiyas like the Chevy stadium truck, Super Champ and Fire Dragon, rest are Kyosho Turbo Scorpion, Maurui Ninja- all electrics. The Bruiser is still going around in for sale classifies these days.

my fav vid is the one of all the hiluxes pulling a real one.. id like to see some maxx or savage footage doing that..

Hi all, I've still got a turbo burns, still play with it, and yes it does very well against the modern mp7.5 and stuff. if you compare them not alot of stuff has changed much. as KUMA said, they were ahead of their time. their still good now. oh i've got a newish o.s lump in it now, the 12yr old mondial died a while back!

Don't know. Probably they thought on road was the way ahead.

no, not as yet. only got my phone for a camera. had it out at work and hour or so ago, the whole lot is one big ball of mud at the moment!

no, need to get my comp to refresh automaticly somehow.

here are some pics,

i've still got most of the original parts, e.g. wheels, exhaust, and part of the radio tray.
