Hey guys need some help

Something tall an not so ballon like more of a box.
Not sure you can get both. Tall tires generally have a lot of sidwall which makes them more likely to be balloons at speed. That's why 40's kind of exist. Lets you get a larger diameter tire for smoothness and handling, but with less sidewall so it doesn't wander as bad at speed.

For a basher, sidewall helps with the big air. A bit of cushion for the landings so the shocks don't have to absorb every hit.

Muggy tires are pretty nice for general bashing (not on concrete, wear too quick), but I'm not sure what's good for actual racing.

So what shoes do you recomend?I no we have talked about this and I am not trying to be a PITA! Just before I drop the cash I would like to get something good.I going to get rid of my stock tires.Whae about the Aftershock tranny to replase mine?

I think I will do FOC .But what about shoes.skins or tires...HAHA.40 series on the 420's?

On the subject of tires I am of no help to you, my friend. I will say this: For landing jumps a high sidewall is great, but not for cornering. For getting through a corner nice and flat a shorter sidewall is best. Where are you going to win your races--in the air or in the corners.? Just saying...

The best tires i have used on my aftershock, were the Proline Moab series 40, with the 23mm hex conversion.

Enough with all the freakin' smilies already!!!

Excuse me, I like smilies ! Why does it make you so angry that I like and use a lot of smiles....just curious ? Does it bother anbody else ?
You shouldn't be so angry, maybe you should try using more smilies ! So I guess this means you don't wanna be friends, huh ?:hehe:

LOL, Just breath buddy.

Who were you talking about ?

Hi Twocane, I run proline Big Joe tyres on proline velocity 40's wheels on my LST. Massive improvement in handling over stock wheels & tyres. Very pleased with them, turns into corners great. I don't really do any big air jumps where I bash so I carn't advice how they handle on that front!!!!
There's a picture of my LST in "post pictures of your LST" thread on the last page. Hope thats some help.

i got some practicly brand new series 40 moabs mounted on series 40 wabash wheels, and 23mm adapters we might be able to work somthing out for.......
