Well, I’ve been bitten by yet another ”rc” bug… the nitro monster truck bug. With planes, jets, helis, and drones already in my arsenal, I guess it’s only fitting, lol. My question is what radio to choose. I’m currently driving a Revo 3.3 but don’t like the radio as I have no throttle trim. What radio will give me the ability to have gyro assist for steering with gain adjustment on the fly with the ability to also trim the throttle? I really like Sanwa but Spektrum or Futaba will work as well. Thanks.

If you want something good get something that fits your budget from Sanwa (used to be Airtronics) or Futaba. If you want something that works good for bashing on a budget there are a couple of transmitters that are real popular. Theres the FlySky GT3B, The GT3C, and the dumbo radios. I use a Fly sky GT3B on my cheaper kits just to save some money on receivers and theres a tons of mods out there for it. Even custom firmware flashes if you wanna get that into it. Since you only seem to have one or two trucks Id pick up a good radio first. my .02

Welcome in @av8ersteve . There is so many directions you can go with a transmitter but there are some really good budgets out there.
Everybody has there favorite so its hard to convince somebody what to buy.
I use the Spectrum DX5C and really like it for both crawling and bashing.

Just came across this on Amazon. It's dirt cheap and comes with a receiver. It looks like all the trims are all right there, for on-the-fly adjustments, and from the Chinglish translation, it sounds like it has gyro technology built in. Also has fail safe.
At $37 and returnable, this may be something worth a try of your looking to run just a single vehicle.

If you're looking to have a transmitter for multiple vehicles, Radiolink seems have a strong fan base.

My inexpensive Flysky GT3 is over 10 years old and still performing great! No desire to upgrade any time soon. It does everything I need it to do for me.
