Your first mistake was buying a used RC kit as your first kit. Its hard enough to learn about nitro RCs when the kit is brand new. Buying one used that you have no idea of all of the problems it could and probably has can make it a living hell trying to get your first RC up and running. I would post a bunch of pics from a bunch of different angles and make sure you take the tires off first and see if someone on here can ID it. If no one on here can then I would contact a tech support person from Kyosho and see if they can ID it using your pics. I've had to do this before to ID a couple kits because a couple years ago when I first got into the hobby I made the same mistake as you and bought several used RCs....almost everyone turned into a money pit. expensive lessons.

As for your carb sticking. try and get a video of what its doing, upload it to YouTube and post a link here so we can see what its doing. That might give people some more insight into the possible causes.

Thats really the best info I can offer at this stage....lets see some pics and videos and well see if we can get you some more info. :)

Greywolf is right. Used RCs are usually NOT a cheap way to get into this hobby unless you buy from a good friend who can help you with it.
Check the following link for a lot of good information on what you need to know to get it running. Any other problems along the way you can post for us.
Good luck with it.
