Got enough parts in this afternoon to start in on my GateCreeper. I'm running most of the Rock Pirates line up for the Element. A HH crawlmaster 550 10t with a HW1080. Not sure yet on whose servo or tires. and of course the Creeper cab. Should be a fun build

well ok then..... Got a little more done on the build. I got the transmission built, went with the 11.8% overdrive option. Installed the HH Crawlmaster 550 10t bolted on. went with a 13t pinion for now. Have 14t-16t as other options if needed. Got both diffs built and greased with Lucas red n tacky. Also I went ahead and replaced the battery connection on the 1080 to a IC3 and added a led for my servo (YTD) Up next, building some links and shocks

The Memorial day sale got me on this one :) just been saving up for the the Rock Pirates shock towers and rock sliders before I started to build. Now saving up for their Bed and battery tray. good Luck on your build.... post up pictures and ask if you have any questions on your build, there are a few of us here that done a few Gatekeeper build.

Got a little more done on the GateCreeper. Got the links and shocks built. Installed a HH SHV500 servo. Instead a spare/ temporary radio and receiver. Did a little testing to see if everything works..... so far so good. also a temp set of wheels and tires just for testing

Hows this running? I have mine nearly built. Going mostly stock but with a Jconcepts Gozer body and some garage made bits (bumper, body mounts, sliders...) Its a quality kit with pretty good instructions.

Thanks for asking but still working on the build. Did some test runs just to make sure it all works right but that's about it. More updates to follow
ok more progress on the GateCreeper build..... I had ordered the offset panhard mount from Hardcore RC and got it installed. Looks and works great. Clears the front diff with no issues. Also installed the Rock Pirates Hardline bed. Ended up making my own front mount to help support the front of b the bed. now on to mounting the cab and coming up with a front bumper.

Looks great! I’ve been running mine and starting to get it dialed in. I had to shorten the lower front links to get the panhard to clear the pumpkin. Going by the directions my suspension was not even close to full range before binding up. The one you have there is the way to go.

Thanks.... I at first I was running a small spacer between the pan hard bar and the mount on the diff to get some extra clearance. So far these are working great. got one on this build and my first Gatekeeper build.

So my ScalerFab front bumper showed up this afternoon while I was at work. Had some free time this evening while Lori was out with friends sooo I ran with it. Trimmed back the frame rails and the mounting brackets on the bumper, drilled some new mounting holes and got it mounted up. still need to do some final trimming and touch up the paint. Still haven't had it out much, just enough to do some basic testing, still need wheels and tires.
