Thats the same set of wheels I just put on my Ecto. šŸ˜

So my ScalerFab front bumper showed up this afternoon while I was at work. Had some free time this evening while Lori was out with friends sooo I ran with it. Trimmed back the frame rails and the mounting brackets on the bumper, drilled some new mounting holes and got it mounted up. still need to do some final trimming and touch up the paint. Still haven't had it out much, just enough to do some basic testing, still need wheels and tires.

Thanks....... stuck at work for a few more hours.... I'll get part numbers for ya after I get home, but it's Spaz Stix candy apple green with the silver metallic backer. I got to heavy handed with the green, it has some runs and puddles in the candy colors. looks good in the sunlight, but looks like a dark green bell pepper inside LOL

great minds think alike. one of the few styles that match the era of the truck. what tires you running?
Just using Injora tires, I haven't really delved into the better stuff yet. They seem pretty good to me, but I don't have much to compare them to.

Not bad actually for high Quality wheels.
Everthing Treal do is awsome quality and looks always
well ok then..... Got a little more done on the build. I got the transmission built, went with the 11.8% overdrive option. Installed the HH Crawlmaster 550 10t bolted on. went with a 13t pinion for now. Have 14t-16t as other options if needed. Got both diffs built and greased with Lucas red n tacky. Also I went ahead and replaced the battery connection on the 1080 to a IC3 and added a led for my servo (YTD) Up next, building some links and shocks

This is the best Brushed Combo to Crawlers, i love these.
I have two 1080, then HH crawlmaster and one trailmaster.
These kills all stock combos, like TRX4 and so on. Handbrake is awsome in these combos ,and the torque too

That's good to know. This is my first HH brushed motor/HW 1080 combo. Most everything less I've swapped over to a Fusion 18000, an Axe system, or still stock.

So ol Rick checking out what the postal rider dropped off this afternoon..... Picked up a gold set of the Rock Pirates rear shock towers to help support Operation 11 Charlie, so we'll be swapping those out. Also picked up a dash and seats off Ebay. Will need some work to clear the transmission. Already installed the IE-RC sun visior. The JConcepts Landmines look good. Like the style of the Treal wheels but Rick and I agree that the copper color just isn't working with the green n black.... so I guess I'll have to reorder another set and find a different rig to put these on later.....hmm I have a black TRX4 Blazer that they might look good on. šŸ˜‰

got a small package from Scale Metal Supplies with a few goodies, Too hot inside, so I moved everything outside to start building an roll cage frame work. Needed something to mount my dash and seats too. Got the front and rear hoops bent and tabs brazed on. Bolted them to the skid plates. Played around with fitting the dash panel. think it'll work out, I'll glue it into place after I get everything cleaned up and painted. The seats are going to be another issue. The transmission sets too high... going to take some creative trimming and frame work to get them to set lower. We'll see what I can come up with. Need to get a few cross members brazed in place across the top and a long the sides. Might build the rear bumper before i take on the seats.... that should be simple..... right??...
