Broke my chassis yesterday. 😮

Right where the lower link connects to the trans mount. Apparently that requires a complete chassis replacement.. Think I’ll put a metal duplicate of the stock one in there. 🤷‍♂️
I’ll post up the pictures when I fix it.
The new chassis showed up today. Looks pretty darn nice! At first I thought it was cast aluminum but upon closer inspection it looks to be machined out out billet.. 👌

It’s definitely gonna pop along with the rest of the red ally stuff. 👍

Well.. I got the chassis swap done. Looks cool as heck! A few things I noticed right away are, there’s no tabs on the sides of the chassis for the battery retainer to grab onto. The other is the holes for the body clips are so sharp that it’s a b!tch to get the body snapped on without pushing them in with a hex driver or something. Otherwise it was an easy swap, only took me about an hr to change everything over. 👍

Here’s what I was talking about with the battery strap tabs.

Put some velcro on your batteries, and in that pocket.

Looks killer man!

Yea, I was thinking dual lock. Only problem is I’ll have to dedicate a battery or two for it, cause the packs I use for it are also for my micro heli’s.
