First nitro truck purchase

I picked up my first nitro truck (monster king) since I came across a great deal for it and figured I would give it a try.

I find the user manual to be of no help at all.
I am having some trouble setting up the idle it seems like every time i start it, it starts at a different speed or i guess RPM (sorry if i am using the wrong terminology here)

also I have a hard time starting it up seems like sometimes it starts with no problem other times takes forever.

I already did the break in and just changed the glow plug, any other tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

under the nitro thread up top there is a tuning tips and flowchart as a sticky. use the flowchart and tune the engine. after the engine is tuned you should be set to go.

thanks for the reply I will check that out.
One other thing I just noticed is while trying to start it i notice some liquid coming out of the exhaust pipe which is green in color.
does this mean i am flooding the engine?
