Here is a little something I did with one of my old pistons. I think it's kinda cool.

I have also did the same thing with toasted CPU's or old SIMMs.

You look like you have just as much crap on your key ring as I do. I have 11 keys, my remote starter, and my remote that came with my car.
 
I di that with My ald one about 6 months ago. if someone that doesn't know me too well sees my keychain its a good conversation(sp?) piece..
 
That's kinda what I have.... it also looks pretty cool when you leave the sleeve around the piston. If you've got any kind of pinch at all left it wont ever fall off. You can see the porting...it looks pretty sweet, everyone always comments.

You can also attach old pistons and rods to your jacket zipper. That way it's always out there for people to see. I used to do that when I was in high-school (a long time ago) and it always started up a conversation with those that knew what is was.
 
I have a steering wheel from a 72 Valiant on my keychain... people think I stole it from a gas station...
