Ever Had One of Those Days...

Maybe it's because it's a Monday, but I tell ya, I am just NOT in the mood to work at all today! I just cannot get myself motivated one bit to call a single client, no matter how many times I tell myself I need to get going! I don't know, maybe it's because it is simply a perfect day weather wise. Mid 70's, crystal clear blue skies, low humidity and both my kids are on their summer break.

Whatever the reason, just not up for "producing" today, but I'm not mad or bitter or depressed or anything like that, just would rather not be here!

Anyone else ever have a day like this?

Votes yes, it's 90 degress out today after two weeks of rain and drizzle, makes it very hard to sit in front of the comp. <off to spray RoundUp on the track as an excuse to get outside>

It's been bumping near 100F for 3 days now. I am am glad to get back to work. Run someone else's A/C for a change. Weird weather we are having. I predicted earlier this year that with the dry winter we had we would have a scorcher of a summer. Even the dog can't find enough water to run in to cool off.

nf123, those temps are on my patio per my Sony weather station, and I live 14 miles from the ocean! Normally we are not above 85-90F in the MIDDLE of summer, and then only for a day or two at a time.

ok thn I'm just saying that in the uk its never that haot for the last couple of days we have hadn about 50-60f which is pretty good over in the uk

nk123, just pointing out how unseasonably hot it is, even at the coast, and that makes me want to go to the comfy air conditioned workplaces, unlike MW.

And yes, been in UK a few times, last time last March, London, wore shorts the whole time in the day and watched the Londoners flip. They thought I was nuts.

Yeah... I have those days. Normally Monday through Friday... Working sucks. (I think I have that in my profile...)

But, keep in mind, it's the money you make that lets you go out and waste it on the weekends in this hobby! Just think! Only 4 more days until Saturday!

Man i thought i was the only one who does that. Monkey I'm with you on this today. I didnt feel like doing nothing. I went to six flags yesterday so I'm tired.

I have had these days for the last month or so. I am graduating in 2 weeks, and have already taken the AP tests. 2 of my main classes are AP and we take the final test in May, but still hafta go to class even after that. The teachers are forced to make us still do work and give us a final due to 'school policy' (bullshit) On top of that I have already been accepted to College, everyday since last May has seemed completely pointless and every second of everyday sitting the those awful, extremely uncomfortable, pos chairs staring at the wall sleeping with my eyes open (sometimes closed) has seemed like the biggest waist of my life.

I WANT TO GRADUATE. I guess this is called senioritus haha, I've got it bad.

The English rattle easily. One day it's too hot, the next too cold or rain! There's never a happy medium here. The newspapers scream "heatwave/drought" one week, then "ice age/floods" the next. Unbefuckinglievable...
I lived in Africa for over a decade, now that's hot, 43°C (109°F) in the shade.
