Also it seems the day your F@#!ing car breaks everyone elses works...Then one is cocking off because his t-maxx is wining races and is thinking he's the man....I"m like stfu man I will stomp you with my bugging....But then I try to start it and it doesn't work....Then I throw the car around...."ACCIDENTLY" throw it at the guy's t-maxx....Accidently  ..... oops...damn now urs doesn't work either...

Well, if you can't realize that a lot of your time in this hobby is wrenching, replacing, cleaning, and maintaining.. then maybe you need a new hobby. If you take your time cleaning it, and checking it out to make sure that everything is in good working order, you won't get frustrated when you get out to wherever you drive them and it won't start. I always start my trucks before I leave and triple check that i have all my batteries (Rx packs and stick packs for starters) charged up and in the toolbox.
Also, if you spend more time on keeping the truck up, you won't tear it up as fast.

We just race our cars right know on the roads around our houses. So if they come over the only time to check is while they're racing because they aren't going to watch me try to start my car...

I love when people don't realize the complexity of these things...yes they are toys...no they are not simple ones.....you have a 1/8 scale version of a real off-road racing vehicle.....or an MT or whatever you run.....do you think the real 1:1 cars/trucks just get thrown in to the garage at hte end of the day and fire right up the next???? News Flash NO THEY DON'T........if you take the time to properly maintain your stuff you do have a lot fewer issues when you go to run them.....this seems like a fun "part time" hobby but if you are expecting to be in a competitive circle it can't be.....now with that said, hell yeah I wanted to chuck my stuff....did I? NO...it's called self control

I've destroyed my r/c car by taking a hammer to it. When i'm pissed off, I can be a very destructive person, but for some reason, it's only my stuff that I tend to break, not anyone else's. Anyhoo, if memory serves me, at the time, my parents were being hella dumb and hardcore accused me of doing some poop with the computers to get around their security. For some reason that pushed the wrong buttons and I wanted to break stuff.

I'm glad I have mellowed out. Most of my little temper tantrums happened when I was going through a divorce and my ex was trying to keep my kid from me. Just got to fix what ya tear up. :hammer:

Sometimes I want to rip my car to shreds..... but then I realize that I do not have the money to fix it... so I don't do it. One time I threw my xxx-nt as far as I could (far) because it kep popping the fricken turnbuckles and stalling and I cracked a rim..... what a pos that car was. My new cars rule. I havent broken a part yet for either of them.

Being a total noob to the world of RC I am frustrated constantly. I just keep telling myself that nothing that was worth it was easy, and that the reason my car does not start is probably because I don't know what the hell I am doing yet. I have also been working on trying to control my anger, and after about 10 years of trying I have made it work. When my car doesn't start, I just step back, say a few choice words, or insult its mother, and then grab a beer and head back to it. Eventually I get it, and after this past evening, I am never giving up. Cause when you get em purring, there is nothing like it. It is like finally passing a test you spent all night cramming for.... pure Euphoria!

..... Most of the time I just can't get my cars to start. I actually found a wya to fix it...When u can't get it to start drain everything out of it and leave the glow plug out. then the next day tune everything a little (before starting) and it starts amazingly..

You want some help?

Because you had to "drain everything" - this means you're over priming and flooding, VERY common. When you go to run it, prime JUST until the fuel comes up to the carb - NO MORE. The next crank or two should be sufficient to get it started.

And you can't "tune everything a little" - or a lot for that matter - it's either tuned right or it's not. What you DO need to do though, is probably adjust the tuning every day, and it helps to understand why.

These engines are sensitive to changes in atmospheric conditions: air temp, humidity, barometric pressure changes can all cause your tuning to be off today when it wasn't yesterday. 1/4 turn off can mean the difference between running and whining about it not running. :D At some point you get your low speed setting right; you should rarely have to change it. This leaves only the high speed needle, which regulates ALL the fuel going into the engine.

Start rich, get it warmed up, then lean it out JUST until the performance comes up, then leave it there or back it off to rich a few ticks. Make your changes in 1/16 turn increments and let it settle in for 30 secs before changing it again.

Sorry for the thread jack, we return to the RC carnage already in progress.

Have I gotten frustrated? I own a T-Maxx that should explain it all lmao! I have something go wrong with it about every other time I run it, but I have never got so pissed I wanted to break it more. I have said some choice words and drug it back to the house and let it set untill the next day when I'm clear headed and can figure out why it broke and what I might have done wrong of can do from keeping it happening again. So far I almost have a new .15 T-Maxx lmao!!!!

Ok, I don't wana piss ya guys off...but I don't care about oh you should cool down 6....You should always check you crap...I dont f$@#ing care....k? This is a post about destroying cars cuz ur pissed not cutting fingers....i understand what you're saying but that's totally different. I"m saying do you let your frusteration out on your care when it constantly is getting broken...losing screws....or not starting..? Maybe I do need therapy? I don't think so I think it's normal to be frusterated....cuz if you don't I"m thinking there's something wrong with YOU...
I don't mind people talking about how to fix a car or what they do to cool down when they're on the brink of destroying their car(that's fine it's cool to hear what people do or want to do)...Just don't tell me what to do...I don't really care...
I know this hobby is about wrenching and crap...BUT THIS THREAD ISN'T!! this is about destroying your car or whatyou feel like doing and then maintaining...

Alright? I"m getting sick of the posts," if u don't understand that this hobby is wrenching..." We all understand... alright?
and rocknbill I don't mind you helping that was great thanks...
I'm just saying if you want to tell people that this hobby is about wrnching not destroying plz make a new topic alright?

Sorry just had to say that.

Calm down junior. If you want to throw a tantrum and destroy your car, then go ahead. The rest of us are experienced enough to know that if it frustrated you to the point of destroying it, you need to just put it down. If that's what you do (destroy) then you need to find another hobby because the majority of r/c enthusiasts wrench, not destroy out of frustration.

If you don't like the responses you're getting from your post, then there is no need to post anything like it in the future.

I"ve never even said I"ve destroyed my car...I don't see where you've read I have? I have said I have wanted to but I haven't...I"ve just kicked it around and felt like doing something.

Again this is off topic...if you want to talk about wrenching make a "wrenching topic" I just want to hear about people destryoing their cars out of fristeration. I didn't mean to hurt anyone in the last post.

So this isn't off topic? I'm wondering what kinds of things you've done to your car when it's broken or have thought about doing...
when someone brings up something that is close to the topic evryone starts saying it's hijacking....This is different than the topic....but not hijacking the thread?
I was just trying to create a thread you can just look at the dumb things people have done and laugh at them and think wow I hope I don't get THAT mad...I didn't want a discussion on wrenching ur car and you gotta quit this hobby....
So if we can go back to the normal topic that'd be great.....Because I don't see how being frusterated over a broken part would make someone quit a hobby unless some of you are big enough losers to do that? I sure am not I will keep trying until I'm the best.

Anyways back on topic...I left my gas, controller, starter, and wrench outside by the garage and my freakin glow starter got ran over and is broken in HALF!!! I was soo pissed today..That's like $30 down the drain...I only have them out for 15 minutes cleaning my car and I go out for a mement and there's the starter and bent and smashed...I"m tryinng to fix it but AWW itt makes me mad....It wouldn't be so bad if my darn hobby shop didn't take so long to order stuff in. He tends to make up excuses and you might not get parts for over a year....

Yes.. this is the offtopic forum. So is this post....

The only thing I do to my broken cars is fix them. I don't have temper tantrums anymore. Even when I was pulling out a bent hinge pin on my tmaxx and cut my eye open with the pliers when it finally popped out I laughed after the initial yell of ****. (self edit)

So, not to hijack your RC vehicle "bashing" thread.. but you obviously have a short fuse. Your crazy, ranting posts whining about pushing this away from immature destruction proves that. I have a couple of pointers for you.. Take them or leave them, I don't care. Really. But first....

You can tell us how you hit a ramp, landed in the tree, fell down and skinned your knee walking to the tree, twisted your ankle climbing said tree, and cut yourself when you used your screw driver to pry loose your skybound car. After all this, you are pissed because Bobby Joe down the street didn't wait for you to drag race Timmy, and you know deep down inside that you could have won. Since you didn't get to participate, you picked up your television and smashed your RC to bits with it. Because you smashed your TV, you will miss SpongeBob and now you must kill again.... hahahaha

Settle down.
Don't leave your crap in the driveway/yard.
It is simple... It's like trying to figure out how a posi-trac in a plymouth works.. It just does.

hahaha

Later...

Hey, I got a better idea.. why don't we make up stories since non of us have any your caliber?? Kindof like the one above!!

hahaha

whatever..
