I hate when I take weeks to get a new part for my car then I can't start it...Then I get it started and crash it....end up buying a new part again.... :hammer: then I feel like throwing it threw a window....(has anyone ever done that?)
has anyone got so pissed they just spazed out on it?
leme hear ur stories....
Sometime, when the enigne " is too lean" I feel like pouring gas all over the car and lighting it on fire....did u get some gas now B!%<#...
leme know what u have done to ur car...I havent done much but kick mine around...

Back when I had my electric evader, I got so pissed at the car always running out of battery so fast. I would then get to the point where I didnt care much anymore. I would just go WOT (13t double modified motor, about 30mph) and hit the jump as hard as I could. Out of the 10 times I did it, I only broke it once. That was when I broke one of my rear axles. From then on, I was going suicidle with my car thinking it was indestructable. I took it to the skatepark, hitting most every jump... and even trying to grind one of the rails (didnt work very well). I went off of a quarter pipe and hit the guard rail, sending the car into flips and cracking the front bumper off. It got kinda boring after that, because my car would run out of battery fast, and nothing would ever really break that couldnt be fixed without money (no cost repairs/DIY repairs) thats my story...

Frustrated by a car? Yup almost on a normal basis. Do I want to throw it in the woods? Yup sure did, Did I do it? NO WAY! Spent over $1200 to get everything I needed for it.

Frustrations are a standard to the r/c world. Take it or leave it. It's not for everyone. I just take things as a challenge and if I can't do it, I just ask for help.

6 I think you might need some therapy. But yeah frustration is deffinatly part of the game. I have a VERY short fuse, and Rc used to be SUPER frustrating for me. But the more I learned the more the frustration went away. When I had my Tmaxx with the pro .15 in it, that was a real pain. And trying to tune in a 15fe mill is enough to drive anyone to the funny farm. Sometime when I drive my rs4, I swear once I get my new mill for it, I'm going to drag the 15fe behind my savage (Which I still might. Ill have pics of course) but yeah, its just part of the hobby. With anger and spazing out like it sounds ya do (LOL) I wouldnt suggest flying rc's..lol

I get pissed off when I'm trying to rebuild something and I just can't get it to line up/fit correctly. Another thing that pisses me off is when the radio doesn't work. At one point I had two Airtronics Blazer sport radios. I went to take the savage out but the holy moly radio doesn't work. After 5 minutes of changing batteries and such I decided to take of the radio cover on the savage. If you have a savage you would know what a pain it is to put back on. I did everything I could and nothing worked. I threw the savage at the wall and at the ground, knowing that it could handle it, then I realized I had the wrong Tx for the savage.

What I find funny is that when you get pissed at it and want to break it, the car just won't break. You just want to beat down the POS and it just takes all the abuse and comes back for more.
And just for the record I've never tried to beat down my car, even though there are plenty of times I have wanted to. Like the other day when my Mayhem wouldn't idle and then the roto-start battery died. I should have kicked it's ass.

on a side note.. if anyone gets so mad they wanna throw there rc's... just throw them on my front lawn.. ill give them a good home.. lol

been pretty pissed befor but never to where i wanted to break it.. i mean cmon.. I'm normaly pissed because it broke and i can't drive it.. or i can't figure out what is broke.. why would i want to break it more??

"oh look I'm bleeding.. oh heres a knife.. take the bleeding blood :stab stab: ahhhh"

see doesn't sound right at all..

I personally don't get that frustrated - irritated, but not mad enough to cause harm to my R/Cs'.. Causing harm costs money, lol. I did get pretty ticked at my original Storm engine at one time - It died with a minute to go, when the car high-centered on a jump. What made it worse was that the car spent over a lap on the bump before anyone spotted it (ahhh, the trouble of running black and red paint).

I wanted to find the nearest 10 pound sledge, and play "Gallagher" on the B01 - it's SLEDGE-O-MATIC!!

i am currently taking a break from nitro racing because of the frustration. i don't have enough time during the week to completely breakdown and rebuild my 710 after every race day. i am going to race my electric TC for the time being and run my 710 only during practice times. i have better success with electric TC racing. i have faster laptimes than most nitro TC's during qualifying.

My first nitro was the ofna violator it seemed everytime i took that POS out i was breaking it more than i was playing with it, every weekend i was buying something new for it, me and that car use to go rounds when i got pissed and i could never make it submit, id throw it, bounce it off the ground a couple of times and it would still want more i finally fixed it up and sold it and now that i have my monster beetle i have something that can hang with my driving style i haven't had to purchase anything that wouldn't keep it from running.

my savage brakes every run thats the thing that pisses me off i have just been cleanig it up and fixing it and a scrow was really tight and my hand sliped and i just sliced my finger on one of the tvp's so i stoped and came on here.

Whenever I get pissed at my RC stuff I stop and think of WHY I'm pissed, I mean the REAL reason, and it's usually MY FAULT. That calms you down a bit.

So 6, be truthful: you broke it because you a) hit a curb or b) were trying to launch it over a house or something, right?

Come on, fess up. :D Either of those things (and many more) have nothing to do with your RC, it's what you did with it.

But yeah. Never beat 'em up though. lol

I've gotten frustrated... even mad some days (yeah i had a few .15 FEs in my 1st MT's).
However, I never thought about tossing my RC's around to vent. way too much $$ invested to to justify a tantrum. Maybe a Bonk on the head when i realized the stinger was plugged, or i forgot to prime, or the servos were disconnected, or ... you get the picture

oh ya...jumping a house lol...I"m thinking about trying it with my t-maxx. But my luck I will hit the jump wrong and go through this huge window I have....
I should test on my neighbors houses first!!!

Most of the time I just can't get my cars to start. I actually found a wya to fix it...When u can't get it to start drain everything out of it and leave the glow plug out. then the next day tune everything a little (before starting) and it starts amazingly. that's how I got it going today....It feels so good to get it started after a couple days of not being able to....
I ran it so hard today I made sure that the engine wasn't going to not start again....I just went full speed down my street for like 15 minutes...then took it out in a alley and sprayed some cars with rocks!!! oops....not really...I'll let someone else's stuff take my frusteration...made me feel good.

when you bring xtra parts to the track but the par that breaks you don't have also why does everything thats xpenive breaks

Did that with a Traxxas Hawk 2 once, and split it in half, just in front of the rear shock tower.

Pure satisfaction comes when, after two parts do not fit together right through normal methods, you apply lots of profanity and rediculous force from improper tools (hammers, bench vise, etc) and suddenly it all works out.

First RC car was the Duratrash TQ. Stayed broke. Was mad at myself for not looking at this forum and checking it out before I bought it. Mad at myself because I tried to use a Makita drill to try to start my Savage. (one-way)

Can't say I have been mad enough to destroy my car. Something goes wrong, I drag out another. If I can. If I can't I do something else.

That's what I do...Except hot glue tape and mainly hammers are used in the process...What I"ve nicknamed my car and what I tend to do to it maybe considered a racial comment so I"M not going to say it....*cough* look at the thread(lightning and t-maxx q's) in GNT forum, it'll be in the first reply as a quote*cough* sry catching a cold....anyways....

keep bringing the stories! and frusterations it comforts me to know u all are having problems too and now my car is working and some of yours aren't lol.....
