ESC & motor question for a kids fort

Can a ESC operate a fan cooled 775 motor without any problems? I got a gear box and set up out of a power wheel jeep and starting making a 2 speed with reverse winch for my kids to put in there fort but it would be cool to have it operated by remote so I figured I would ask the professionals.

I decent brushed ESC can yes.
