So I have taken another route to doing some tinkering, I have started a new thread as I need specific answers.
More so because I am doing a SOA with some adjusted parts. I am able to retro fit my axle with my servo, but this means going from a 3 upper link to 4 link, so this means now I have to get a skid plate with 4 links which only 1 tranny does, and that is the single speed drive, which is what I want to upgrade to eventually, this just means I will get to it sooner the way I am trying to envision.
These are the parts I need.

Now I explained to him (Vitavon rep) that I have a 4990SD 1650kV G2 can, he said I need a 56 can because of the can holder.
I sent him this image to explain what I am asking, but buying another can isn't the solution, they stipulate that this only works with 5mm shafts, the 56 sized cans are 8mm shafts.

I am asking him, where the arrows are, can I just simply bolt the 4990 existing can without having to use the other motor mount that does or wont fit mine.
He just emailed me back and said he would ask the engineers, they have some time off for a festival holiday, I am in no rush but I would like to do this as simple as possible, which means not having to buy another can.
I have scoured the net and this is why I am asking here, has anyone ever used the single speed transmission 4 link, then bolted a can on without having to use the holder?
Trust me when I say I have looked everywhere, but going to the source and not getting the right answers, they even suggested I buy another axle with SOA already built onto it, I don't need this as you can retro fit and it is a very smart upgrade path.

In these images, you will see 2 arrows, red denotes where the 3rd upper single link used to go, now the SOA is attached to that and the purple arrow shows where the 2 new longer links making it 4 upper links now.
Whilst I am happy to get answers from the Vitavon rep, they're not fully versed in the particulars about if this all works, there is zero instructions and it makes it hard to know you're getting all the right gear to complete a project.

If anyone has used the single speed tranny, am I on the right pathway? It looks logical that you should be able to just bolt onto the tranny and you're good to go, they do this with the stock can, which is far heavier than these Ezy runs.

Once I get this done, then I can look at doing other stuff like the wheels which I was initially intending to do, then the last part is the 6WD. I want to bullet proof the truck before doing anything else. This means SOA, single speed tranny and front links.

If anyone has remotely done anything like this, can you please let me know or give some advice?
I have 3 weeks to get this sorted, and I don't want to waste money because I got the wrong info, and definitely do not want to buy another can, because the 4990SD is perfect for my intended use.

T.I.A and sorry for being a pita.

This vid here shows the OG can with no motor holder, Joe is picking it up like it means nothing, I think this sort of answers my question.
