Esc compatible to motor

Can a 6s Esc be used on vileneon 3500

I mean, the esc might be a bit much for the motor. Pretty sure that esc has a bigger bullet than the motor. (VXL 3s has a 3.5mm bullet I think)
The motor can only be ran on 3S MAX. More and youll blow it up.

sure can for about 30 seconds then I see massive failure in motor esc .might be more
You can push things in this hobby fare .sometimes toooo fare. could I charge my nicds at high amperage sure . did some fail oh yes.(35 amp) was fire department called along with cops yes.
for a 6 cell esc better be able to handle 6 cell. motor better be under 1700kv in my book, I've got a Kershaw 1000kv I've ran it up to 10 cells.it happiest on 6 with big gearing 52pinion on 42 spur
its only going to free spin @ 88,200 it might take it ..lol nope

I use a 6s 150A hobbywing rebrand in my Slash 4x4 with a 1/10 motor. Run it on 3s and it's great, runs cool without a fan.
