Element Enduro Ecto Black- I bought one!

I scored this set of Voodoo KLR/M 1.9 tires & Proline dual stage foams off ebay, used but new, for half the price of new for all 4 tires & foams, one listing. Guy said they are new, getting out of the hobby. And they are new. Got some generic vented aluminum beadlocks to mount them on. Wheels listed for a SCX10 so I machined some delrin inserts/reducers for the wheel centers for the 4mm axles & pressed them in. Perfect fit on the Ecto. More to come.

Beautiful wheels, I am liking the burnt titanium/rainbow anodizing lately. My wife has a little Sig Sauer in that finish. It's a little charmer.

Have you guys tried the injora xhx pins by chance? I know the comp pins work well.

Yeah the pins are probably best for strictly rock, can’t imagine they would be good in mud. I cringe when I see @majin covering his stuff in muck.
I love it!!! I got an air compressor just so I could clean em afterwards

So you are also ready to airbrush…. 😎
Just don’t go too high on the air pressure, it tends to force the dust deeper into places like bearing seals.
Pins probably wouldn't do to good for me either.
You could always try them and then you know, send them over to me for let’s say…. “Science”?

I betcha my g/f coated that gun! 🤣
Shes a tech for a company that coats parts for sig.

Just got back in from running the Ecto. Ran it several times now with & without the link riser. I see the pros & cons. Sometimes it's helps traction other times it flips it over. It's easily removed. Idk if rear weights would help or front weights or both or just do without the riser. Fun rig! Found some different spots today.

pics or it didnt happen..... you sat in the house eating oreos....

Sorry. No pics. It happened. Used my sons old skate spine rail I built to climb on. Maybe it's a 45° angle on the sides & a metal rail on top. It'll climb right up it. Pics soon. I have a few rocks in the back & I climbed all over them. I'd rather concentrate on the rc than the phone. 😁

Bro 100% understand that lol can't tell you how many of my videos are just like 3 mins of the sky cause my mount slips
I sorta am thinking about one of those hat mounts but I really REALLY want a go pro for inside the truck lol

I got some pics of the few things I got. The old skate spine is 45°! It use to sit in the driveway. The Ecto will crawl right up to the top & drop the R front tire over the pipe & scale all the way across & reverse all the way back & down, without flipping.

Climbed around the ledges around the basketball court.

And a few rocks I put in 28 years ago. Can't climb on top of the stack. I've got a few other spots.
