RC Driving Style
  1. Crawling
Guessing this may be normal.....the body resonating and amplifying drive train noise. GRRRrrr....
The noise will not stop me from spending endless hours crawling, but you should know your life could be better, more rewarding, better income, improved relationships and even re-growth of hair.... here is how.
I ripped off the body of my VW, masked the windows and sprayed the inside with rubberized undercoating (from the windows down) three times. Now the inside is black (ain't no light shining through the coating ever again), body is a bit heavier, and yes, I did not spray the roof (top heavy issues, though this is not a comp rig) and other than motor and gear train noise when accelerating (minor at worst) the body noise is pretty non-existent now. So impressed that I did the same thing to my HPI Toyota body and got the same results. I lost all the hollow "thunking" sound. Really sounds pleasant now, crawling is much nicer. While the added weight really is not noticeable (by me anyway) I am sure there are those who will nit pick this, I ain't going back.
Pay attention, you are not going to hear me sneaking up on you again.......

I guess I could have done a video of removing the product from the bag and how to shake the can and remove the cap. Was not thinking....

A missed opportunity. As a reminder, in a YouTube video you must use the terms, "that being said" and "without further ado" and make sure you make it clear you're speaking to the "guys" at least once in every other sentence. If you don't say, "guys" at least fifteen times, I think YouTube will take the video down. And if you run the car, don't forget to continually blip the throttle like you're having some kind of a trigger finger spasm, upsetting the suspension, causing drastic weight shifts and destroying tire grip, and then comment on how poorly it handles. :)

My Rlaarlo SBK10 was making some loud, clunky body noises. It has a single body clip in the front and a narrow spade-and-socket sort of arrangement at the rear, allowing the bottom of the body to swing back and forth a bit, hitting the chassis and making the clunking. It was also wearing the paint from the inside of the body where it was hitting. A couple of small strips of adhesive-back foam completely eliminated the issue.
