electrics

turn it on and go
instant torque
no fuel/air ratio concerns
usually cheaper parts on teh rig
smaller cars = easier to transport
can make em faster (serious coin)

cons:
good support equipment is a fortune
batteries need more meticulous time consuming care than ARO and store it
good batteries are pretty expensive (but nitro at 25 a gallon aint a picnic either)
have to clean/replace the comm brushes fairly frequently
if you race tires go like candy
(on road) you need clean areas or you can suck metal stuff up into the motor and cook it......

they both have pros and cons
nitro is harder to learn but it's usually a lil beefier product......electric is just easier to get going with

Pretty much what Plaid said, unless you go brushless and lipos.

Brushless vs brushed pros and cons
Zero maintenance, higher efficiency=more power and runtimes....expensive vs brushed systems

Lipo vs nimh/nicd pros and cons
light weight, outperforms nimh/nicd, zero maintenance in terms of discharging/cycling...needs care when charging and discharging, cells are more fragile than nimh/nicd, expensive compared to nimh/nicd.

Electric will let you concentrate on driving and setup rather then tuning.
Has anyone mentioned that electrics are a hell of a lot quieter then Nitro and a whole lot cleaner.

Eddy you say Quiet like it's a pro.....I want noise to bring all the hotties into the hobby running when they hear 2-stroke revving.....you know how chicks can't resist a guy with a toy car.....

There like 2strokes because the oil is mixed with the fule. I guess you could say they are like lil ones.

I think you have 2 stroke and 2 cycle a little mixed up. They make 4 stroke airplane engines that require the nitro and oil mixed.

O i dont know to much about airplanes i was thinking my dirt bike 4stroke vs. 2stroke lol.
