ABSOLUTE scam. It's been going on for a long time. NEVER reply to anything like this. They do it with PayPal, Ebay and your bank.
If you ever get anything like this, call them directly and ask if there's a problem. NEVER give out your info in an Email, now matter who it's from.

i would just wait and see what happens. If your account is closed sown, just make a new one. Never respond to such e-mails. do what Rolex says. He is exactly right.

Yeah I get those stupid thing like every other week just delete it and dont worry about it. There are all kinds of scams out there. I listed my Chevy Suburban in the paper trying to sell it to catch up on some bills and this guy from london sends my wife and I and email saying he is intrested in it. He tells us that he will send us the money he keeps making up excuses where the money is and that we will get it soon and please dont sell the truck. we finally just gave up on him then almost 6 weeks later we get a check for 8500.00 from him and we where asking 4000 ,so we told him we sold it and we will send his check back which I still have the suburban if anyone is intrested lol , then he offers my wife 1000 dollars to cash it and wire him the rest of the money, YEAH RIGHT buddy. We start looking at the check and it just looks suspicious so we took it to the cops fraud check department and they tell us it a manufactured check made by and organized crime ring in london and if we had done what he requested we would have been in trouble for the 8500 and that the FBi would be coming to see me, they turned it over to the secret service. They told us they get fake checks just like the one we had every week!!!! So be very very carefull with anything that has to do with money exspecially over the internet.

Jesse

Weird I just got one from paypal asking for all my info! I dont think so!!!!!
Someone is busy today sending fake emails trying to get your $$$$$$

I got one today and one yesterday, both scams. Its the second time I get one of them, annoying to say the least.

I've been getting similar e-mails for months... A friends of mine replied to one of these, on his girlfriends account after being in jail for months. He gave out all her information, in return, identity theft, they've been fighting it for months. They have all her e-mail, instant messenger, bank info, etc. etc. Also has all her passwords and keep changing them over and over again.... Like everyoen else said, none of these type of companies will ever ask for ANY info in e-mails....

Just never click a link in an email from anyone let lone E-bay or paypal.

The links run a command line that sends your information off for people to commit fraud with it.

If you have any doubt, just close your E-mail go to the REAL site
type www.ebay.com in your browser and try to perform the requested action.

If you cannot go to the site (ebay or paypal) to confirm your accoutn info, you certainly can't do it by clicking on a link.

Forard all suspicious E-mails to [email protected] or [email protected]

Usually you will get an immediate response (10-50 minutes) as to wether or not it is a valid E-mail.
