Just gotta love that tuned exhaust muffler; and an old Associated Car. This is what I raced back in the early 80's.

I've always wondered if the rubber raft was also R/C powered.

No, the raft wasn't R/C, and the Land Rover really sucked. I had a ton of those old Radio Shack, KMart, early toy grade vehicles. The only vehicles i still have from those days though are a couple of my Tamiya's, a Kyosho scorpion, and an early Associated RC10, that are all in pieces in boxes. All my toy grade stuff got tossed a long time ago. You guys are making me feel old though, posting Tamiya cars that came out in my early/late teens lol. The pics are all of Radio Shack/Tandy cars i owned. They are the Radio Shack/Tandy 4X4 truck (the actual name), the Radio Shack Golden Arrow, the Radio Shack Street Fighter 2 (the blue and white one), the Radio Shack Street Fighter, and the Radio Shack Turbo Thruster.
