Running sledge and arma kraton. 3s lipo in both 5000-6500mah. What would u guys recommend for a dual charger that is relatively basic to use and not crazy expensive? Currently using traxxas dual charger, which works fine for my needs charging non traxxas batteries, but wouldn't mind a better charging setup. Fan recently started sounding awful and on its way out, very easy to replace fan though, just not sure of size, think it's 30mm

Hota D6 Pro is most recommended here

G e n s A c e D300 is pretty good but id choose the Hota due to the higher balance current.

I run a skyrc T200 mostly for 2s packs and serves me well.

Other good chargers. Hitec rdx2 800. EcoPower Electron Dual (copy of Gens).

@jimdavis577 I'm pretty sure has a ToolKit RC charger I think? He likes it.

Thanks. Hota d6 looks like a good choice and reasonable price. Assuming it will handle dual 3s/6500 lipo no problem? Bought similar charger a while back from Amazon and returned asap. wasn't paying attention to specs when I ordered and wouldn't charge battery to full capacity, think max cutoff was 5000mah if I remember correctly, also took way too long for a full charge

I'm curious to know the similar charger that was bought.

Your charging practices are what? 1C charge rates?

If you want an AC/DC charger... Hota D6 Pro should be atop of wish list to compare.

I use the Toolkit RC M6D, it's small, budget-friendly, can do 15A on each channel or 25A as a single-channel output, up to 6S.

I run mine off an old gaming laptop power supply that does 19v @9A, more than enough for my uses, can also use 12V from the car and 18V Makita batteries in the field.

This was exact one I tried. Believe 5A was max charge rate. I always charge at 1c

Gens_ace_d300 for the win... 300/700watt 16amp dual charger, bought mine for 104 off aliexpress, I have seen it often for under $120 on amazon. If using gtech batteries then just plug in and it does all the work. Small and light enough to throw in you bag and use a 3s or better battery to charge your others.

I got mine shipped $199.99 from Tattu (Gen.Ace)

Decided to go with gensacearespammers d300. Hopefully like it much better than traxxas ez peak charger
It will be 100 percent.
gensacearespammers d300, stupid auto correct
Its not you its the system once you post it, it changes it to that bc G-A were spammers at the forum a while back.

You'll like it better than a Traxxas charger, but generally speaking, the D300 is inferior to the HOTA D6Pro.

D300 rocks with better specs than the hotad6pro
While I'm sure it works fine you are incorrect. Granted, it does boast an extra 50W, but the .4A you lose in max balance charge actually makes the D300 a slower charger than the D6 Pro. At least in the majority of cases

I understand... and for older batteries it may be the case, I have just not witnessed my charger taking an inordinate amount of time once it gets close. The gens.ace 8000mah 3s I just started charging and it predicted 29 min to charge it. (started at storage charge of 11.5)
