I drove my buggy into a pile of snow on accident with the body off and I'm having some problems now. After I let it dry out I turned it on and the Steering servo started smoking. Also the carb is real sticky and makes noise when you move the throttle in and out. I dont know what to do with the servo but as far as the carb goes. Can I lubricate it?

Yeah, sounds like you got water in your servo. Take it apart & dry it with a blow dryer. Hopefully, it isn't trashed, but sounds like it already is since it's smoking. Once it's completly dry plug it up & give it another chance. If that doesn't work, then you have some shopping to do.

As far as the carb goes, you should have cleaned the whole motor (inside) with some kind of cleaner & then lubricated the whole thing. Definitely spray some lube on it.

Over time water & metal is not a good combination. Especially if you ran in the snow which has road salt on it. The salt will just make things worse.

Well I took it apart and the wires and board inside are all burned up. It powers on but doesn't move more then 1 MM.
This poop is starting to get real expensive. I need to be more careful in the future:hehe:

well you should get used to buying stuff because if your like everyone else in this hobby your going to be constantly buyin new stuff

as fr the card you probobly got salt or sand in i from the snow pile take the carb totaly apart clean it with some nitro cleaner or denatured alcohol then put some silicone grease or oil on the slide and put it basck togethe and i also reccomend tearing down the eingine also becuse if you got dirt in your carb you als mostly likly got dirt/salf and waterin your engie wich is not good clean the engine all up with nitro clner or denatured alcohol lube the bearin and thenput it back to gether with some after run on the piston and whatnot then you should be all set

Before you put your new servo in, put it in a party balloon with the lead wire comming out of the mouth of the balloon. Put a glob of silicone in the neck of the baloon and squish it down with a ziptie to make a seal. Poke a pin hole over the servo outdrive and stretch the hole over it. Put the servo horn back on.

Now you won't have to worry so much and all it to was a $2 bag of party balloons.

I do this with all my servo's, receivers and battery packs. I also wrap electrical tape all around it over the balloon to help protect it from getting ripped from flying objects.

Here's a few pics with and without tape so you can see the damage that the tape helps protect against.

EDIT -> The place I had the pics posted won't allow linking.

Drove my HPI Nitro MT straight into a pond, don't know if it was that stinkin failsafe or batterie came loose. Either way I'm investing on a throttle return spring. I took everything apart when I got home added some denatured alcohol to the electronics and let stuff dry out over a few days. all seems to be well. The motor was on it's last leg so I said screw it and ordered a new os 15 cvr.
Has anyone ever waterproofed their electronics with the "Dip-It" coating you can get at hardware stores? It's a plastic liquid that's used to coat handles of tools and etc. which can be peeled off if needed. I know I read/saw it somewhere.
