the chassis pic reminds me a lot of the Tower Hobbies ST-15 which was a nitro stadium truck. which was based off a Kyosho, but seems to have some Cen ideas thrown in. did Tower Hobbies have a nitro TC or rally as well?

Thanks everyone for your replies, I've been offered this for £60 is it worth it though?
Cars like this are usually cleaned up and dressed up with hop ups and put on the shelves due to lack of parts. If it were me that's the route id take with it.

looks to be shaft drive so no belts to have to track down (believe me that can suck). parts are no doubt going to be harder than hens teeth to find.
but it is an on road car and i find you don't really crash those much. £60 is under $100usd right? I'm conflicted. if its complete and running and you wanted a foot in the door on a cheap nitro TC id go ahead and get it. just know that you may be 1 good crash away from it being non reparable. do you think you can get £60 worth of use out of it before it craps the bed? on the other hand, if it's not a runner you may not be able to make it a runner. so you'll have a £60 shelf ornament. can you stand to loose £60 given that scenario?
and personally i would upgrade the radio before ever driving it, but that's something you can put in another car down the road so no loss there.
