Hi, I’m hoping that someone will give me some advice on this toy. It’s clearly not in the same league as your vehicles, but it’s one my grandson has enjoyed playing with and I’d like to enable him to do that again. We are unable to locate the remote control and Hyper Toys chat agent helpfully advised me that they don’t stick them as spares and to take it back to the shop! Any advice on a replacement or alternative would be greatly appreciated!

There's a small chance a seller sells the controls seperately but from my search there isn't. It's a quite unique car as well so no other toy grade controller will just do.
Toy grade RC's hardly ever have parts availability

Welcome to RCT!!

For $219.95 you can get a Traxxas Stampede monster truck. He'll love it and every RC shop on the planet stocks parts for it. I know this isn't what you're looking for but it's the route I would take.

@Ramp addict is right, go for more of a hobby grade. buy it new or used! there are a gazillion parts for hobby grade unlike toy grade. You can literally go to your rc store (if you have one near by). even if you don't want an offroad rc and you want to stick with a drift toy or on road toy. there are tons of on road hobby grade rc's out there. parts are easily to get. You don't have to wait for a tiny part for weeks on end that comes from China that's most likely going to break again. hope this helps!

Many thanks for your advice…I guessed that the remote would be pretty unique…

Many thanks for your suggestion! I’ll have a look…

Thanks everyone for your suggestions…we’ve managed to locate the missing remote and our grandchildren have already been having fun with the car.
