headed back to my roots. Are you guys running the drake exhaust with your XXXn/t 2's? I'm picking up a FR 12 wondered what exhaust...also do i "need" any immediate hop up things? I had a rtr 2 years ago and had to hop up the rear diff. just wondered what i absolutly need beside the kit.

wow tough crowd huh??? thanks anyway.
Headed to the grid.....

I think the Drake 2 kit comes with the new rear exhaust header. If you get a side exhaust motor, then you will have to get the Drake 1 header.

i am trying to work on that too. suggestions still welcome

i havent bought any hops for mine, you do need to "notch" the hinge pins on the rear with a dremel so that the hinge pins dont slide out, switch to red springs in the rear along with red shock pistons all the way around.thats all i have done to an awesome truck.

you should feel lucky, I'm still waiting for an answer to my question about an aluminum gear box housing for xxx-nt and I posted it about a month ago.
