Doom's Redcat Ascent 32 Isuzu Vehicross

Thought I should probably start a build thread for this before I get to far.

First up, starting out with the Redcat Ascent 32 as my base platform.

First modification was to swap out the stock shocks tha were a bit too bouncy, with some Injora shocks.

Next up I placed a 1/24 scale Isuzu Vehicross model kit body on for a test fit. Going to need some wheel well trimming. Tonight I took the Dremel tool to it to give it some more tire clearance.

I will need to do a little cleanup sanding to it, but overall pleased with the shape. I tried hard to follow the natural body contours.

That's as far as I've gotten so far for now.

Its ok but it would be better if it was orange and white.

Yes, just penciled a line and used the Dremel to cut it.
