Just a little heads up for you all. I'm in the process of breaking in my new OS in my Maxx. Tank 7 just went through. Still rich as hell. The engine is blubbering and spewing oil all over. Temps are below 250. So you can imagine this thing is running like a dog. Haven't even hit 2nd gear yet. Slow as hell and just really lame. But it's break in. Gotta do it. So genius me decides that while it's cooling, I'm going to bust out my RS4-3 that I just installed a new 2-speed tranny in. I fire it up. Get it warm. Pull out in the street and bury the throttle. This thing takes off like a freaking bullet. At least compared to the Maxx. Dude, I could barely keep up with it. This thing was all over the street. My recommendation? NEVER drive your land rocket mere moments after trudging around with a less-than-broken-in Maxx.

Lol.Sounds like you had fun though...Ya your use to the car/truck going slow. Then you get your other one and you hit the throttle and WHAM the car/truck seems like its going like 100mph.Well you have fun breaking in that O.S.:tank:

I dunno, all I run is on-road. Whenever I switched from the ntc3 to my HPI nitro mt, it seemed super slow and boring. There's only been a few times where i've ever ran the on-road and couldn't keep up with it.

LMAO.
I race 2 classes at the track.
Nitro oval and Maxx road course.
Can you say SLUG?
The Maxx is like slow motion.

It reminds me of Baseball, Swinging the warm-up bat with weights on it. It makes the real bat feel like a toothpick.

I think that same chain of logic explains why you get traffic tickets after buying a new car (1:1 scale).
