Yep!!

most of my fleet is "vintage"
running: RC10, RC10T, RC10T3, Bolink Eliminator, Team Losi XXXT, Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper, Kyosho Stadium Baja, Super Clodbuster, HPI Nitro RS4 2

non running: RC10GT, RC10L, Team Losi XX buggy, RC10 short arm 6 gear car, Cox 1/12 nitro no idea might be the Nissan GTP, couple nitro drag cars iv yet to ID.

if you want to count them: RC10 Worlds Car rerelease. technically i am building a "rustler". Team Associated TC4 (it is a 20 year old platform now)

I think most of mine is vintage if 10 plus years is the time line
Sportwerkz Recoil, Duratrax Mini Quake, HotBodies Ve8 with a Tekno full conversion kit when Tekno was just a hop up company.

So I just restored / upgraded an ole RC10T4. I put a newer brushless combo in it, fixed anything broke on it. And upgraded the front hubs and axles to have the bearing in the hub vs in the wheel like the original, by doing this also allows me to run the current hex wheels being made and not having to look for the old school wheels that have the bearing in them

Did you have parts already for the front hex conversion? Just curious if you used any of the "5", or "6 series" caster/steering blocks.
Oh, and... are those buggy wheels and tires?

they are not the skinny buggy wheels ... these are stadium truck wheels .... and i did not use the 5 or 6 series ... I was finally able to find a set of the conversion axles from team associated ... that used a diffrent hub for the t4 .... I'll have to dig out the part numbers if ya need them .... but it's just a shouldered axle with 2 little c clips to hold the bearings in the hub

back in high school i new a guy who had a B2. when AE came out with a B3 conversion kit he converted it. i remember looking at it afterword's and thinking it wasn't any different. :hehe: i was like dude you spent $90 to have the same car.
the second gen AE cars always seemed weird to me. the B2 and T2 seemed radically different from each other. the B2 was all new with composite chassis, but the T2 was a stamped tub, like an update of the 10T.

I agree. Selling the B3 while the "B3" upgrade kit for the B2 was confusing to me.

The only vintage RCs that I currently have are my T4 rides.

The T4.2FT, and T4.3 are my daily runners... when in correct spot in the rotation.
nice .... i have the 4.0 that has the upgraded hubs on the front .... took me forever to find the axle stub and carriers to convert it over seeing as no one makes the conversion kit any longer .... no I just have a bunch of the old school wheels ( bearing in the wheel) to get rid of

Lots of B4/T4/SC10 owners have been using steering/caster blocks & axles off of the RB10/ProSC10/Pro2SC10 platforms for years.

Well, if any of those old school wheels just happen to be new white JConcepts Rulux wheels

... let's talk. I waited too long to snag up any years ago. I was more into a florescent yellow faze, because I liked to play dress up with my B4/T4.3 taking the yellow color from of B4/T4 body flames into consideration.

Since the body has more white in it, I'd like to see some white spoked wheels on my NIB T4.1RS someday.

But there's a fact that I refuse to pay arm/leg for such hard-to-find old school coolness. I already got my $0.02 in with JConcepts to do a re-release on them Rulux wheels... in hex form though. It never hurts to let 'em know what you think is great. Modern day stadium trucks running around carpet/turf tracks with 12mm hex Rulux wheels... that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! 🙌🙌

I'll have to dig out my hord and see what all is in there ... I got quite a few sets in a trade for rhe t4 ... and I know a majority are the old style with the bearings in the wheel but what kind I'm unsure of
