If I get a O.S. 30 vg bump start and convert to a pull? A friend of mine has a new one cheap, but if it needs a crank, starter shaft, owb and pull then forget it.

I can't even find an OS 30 that is bump start. You sure it's not their 28?

Either way, i'm pretty sure you will need all new parts, which in the end will set you back quite a bit. Crank, backplate, pullstart housing and reel, owb, starter shaft.
