do anyof you street race or go off roading or anything like that? just curious.

I do alot of wheeling when I can get a chance but since I sold my Blazer I don't get out much anymore. This past year I have been taking my 4 wheeler with the trucks and having a blast though. I also snowmobile and do boating.

since i got my truck i've been going offroading or "Muddin"
Pretty sure hes talkin about 1:1's there chief.

I used to street race alot until the Fast and furious fad came in. (With a s-10 I had with a built 350 in it, and also the truck I have now thats supercharged) Now its just to many stupid kids in dumb cars that can't drive and its to dangerous. As far as offroading, I do alot on 4 wheeler. Waiting for the summer (Already) so I can bring the wheeler (And the savage) to the mines.

whats it like? i never done that before ( i dont have my lisence ) i dont know anyone who likes that stuff but my self. i have you done any upgrades to your trucks? or is it some thing you do once in awhile.

I am to its a 71 chevy cheyenne shortbed

I used to stick every dime I had into my 1:1. Then I kinda learned my lesson with my S-10. I dumped ALOT of money into that, granted it was fun, and a hella nice truck, but I lost my ass when I sold it. So on my truck now I keep it pretty tame. Granted when I dropped the supercharger on it, I had a wild hair but I got a good price on it. Other than that its just lowered and has wheels on it. (For now)

Street racing now is pretty dangerous and the cops will really come down on a person for doing it. Since the Fast And furious fad came out, theres alot more people doing it, and doing it stupid and people are gtting hurt. So I wouldnt suggest that at all. The tracks are open, so if ya wanna race, do it there. As far as off roading it looks like a blast but again can be really expensive. Id imagine its just like a giant rc. Stuff breaks, and then ya fix it. But yeah a nice car I think is a must for a person with a fresh licence. (So start saving) If ya buy it yourself youll appriciate it more and respect it more. The worst thing ya can (I think) is buy a car that ya wanna "{imp out" but its just not a "pimpable" platform. Theres alot of that around here. Kids with Cavaliers with flames on them and cheasy spinning hubcaps. And that just looks retarded. (The car would look better off stock) but yeah, thats my couple dimes on that.

Oh yeah thats right.. My bad.. But isnt your truck lowered a lil bit? Hows mudding in that?

I don't street race, but I'd like to try autocross with my car sometime. Or just go really fast someplace where you're allowed to haha. There are a couple places where you can take your car and learn how to control your car in a slide and learn how to handle your car incase of emergency, my dad wants to take me. Could be helpful incase your ever in a real life bad situation.

i was curious about the street racing because i got need for speed most wanted the black addition. and I'm addicted and wanted to know whats it like the real thing.

'Bout the only thing I do is take my XR 250R out beating around a bit. I have a Tahoe, but I can't risk beating it up too much because it's my work truck as well, but I've been known to hit an empty parking lot after a good snow! I also make some extra cash yanking idiots who think their "all-wheel drive Camry" out of ditches because they thought it meant "4WD".

I think what cracks me up the most is seeing some kid with a beater '85 Civic, Bondo and different colored primer all over it, stock-sized tires that are balder than a baby's butt, but it has one of those performance mufflers on it! Now all he has is a loud POS! Cracks me up every time I see one of 'em!

i find that too.especially when my mother stops next to one at a light. the guy in the other car will rev his engine inch up and on green my mother leaves them. those cars make all the noise for nothing they arent going no where. oh yeah my mother drives an 03 nissian altima 220 hp stock

I used to 4X4 Heavily in my Jeep Wrangler CJ-7, but since I got rid of it I can't any longer.

Those Chevy Caprice's really arent that great for off-roading, Ya know?

I used to have a 69 Blazer with a built 396, Built TH350 tranny, twinsticked NP205 Dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear locked at both ends with 4.88 gears and 40 inch Boggers with only 9 inches of lift. That was my playtoy and it would go anywhere I wanted to go with it. Now I kick myself in the a$$ for selling it but now I run a 2005 Arctic Cat 500 manual trans quad with 26 inch ITP Mud Lites. I love to play in the mud.

Video games are video games..Just games. Thats all. Leave em at that. (we dont need another Grand theft auto shooter around) Unlike Videogames, ya crash, you die. You shoot or run from the cops, you go to jail/die/becomes Buddys boy toy. But I can tell ya street racing is nothing like the video games and poop make them. Its basically the same as if you and your buddies would race pedal bikes down the street, yet in cars.

I used to have a very built up 71 Satelite that I raced everyonce in a while that is when I could afford to put gas in it lol, it averaged about 5mpg on a good day. If I still had it today I would probally only race it on a dragstrip where no one else is likely to get hurt or killed, just not worth it, and video games are just that games fun to play but never like the real thing. A video game can't kill you, but a mistake in a car can and will. I have a 74 Chevy pick up I used to take 4 wheeling all of the time. Its basicaly stock with a 4 inch body lift and 33x12.50 tires it was very very fun but is hard on your rig. Thats why its sitting now with a burnt tranny and sitting of flat tires :(. I'm also building a 1959 impala with a big block wich should have around 400-475 hp and it will only be raced at the local dragstrip if ever
