whats the difrence beetween a os cv-rx and cv-rx (s) version is the s version better :fro:

The "s" means it is a short threaded crank. That means its already cut off so you dont have to cut it yourself.

so if i put a cv-rx in my evader i would have to cut the shaft

Thats Wrong!!! The Evader uses the full length of the long threaded shaft to mount the clutch and flywheel. You do not need to cut it. If it was going on an RC10GT you would have to cut the shaft. :hammer:

AHH! I didnt know that... I thought everything used the shorter shaft... Is this because it uses a prop washer thing?

Yeah, the Evader is pretty close to a XXXNT in a few ways. I know the electric evaders are actually exactly the same as Losi's old XXT, so I think they get alot of ideas off Losi. The clutch essembly actually has alot of the same interchangable parts, so they use the same type of shaft.

Yeah my Evader w/ DTX18 has the prop washer on it. They have crappy clutches though. I'm thinking about converting mine to RC10GT or Losi clutch system and use 3in1 shoes.

I thought the evader had the short shaft version, but i didnt know they went stupid and used the prop washer...
