Thanks @WoodiE for the giveaway and thank to all of the RCT people for making it happen!

Also had to give it the special David treatment with the tennis racket grip tape. Didn't like the radio out of the box, but with the grip tape on it makes it much better. The foam on the wheel is pretty grippy as well. Already put it in the rustler. Tested it out and I like it!

you need a taping lesson. I use Bicycle handlebar tape and never do I get tape sticking out.I also use contact cement to end the wrap..start at bottom then work your way up

Glad you're putting it to good use.

When you wrap something like that, start at the bottom. Stretch it tight, like you do electrical tape. Make one wrap around, then start going up, and try to keep your wraps evenly spaced. Start and stop the wrap where you are not likely to rub it with your hand or fingers, to keep it from peeling up. You weren't stretching the wrap when you put it on, which is why it is lifted up in areas.

you could even use Hockey tape. they make it in your Bomb pop colors. but you better watch some youtube vids on how to get the grip the way you want it .See I played hockey for 8 years from the age of 4 . the tape they have available nowadays does not have the stick glue they used to .its a non sticky feel tape(I have 3 rolls in my tape collection now) less than 2$ a roll for 3/3" tape and the sizes go up to 3"

Kinda don't like how the radio gets in the way of you brake/go into reverse. But other than that it's a pretty good radio.

Also doesn't have a place for you to use a lanyard since I like using one. But since this radio is very light weight, no need for me to use one

When driving, I don't even notice it. I like it 😁

I'll see how my dad thinks of it
