Massachusetts Crawling spots ??

Hello all, anyone knows of a decent free place to bring 1/10 and 1/18 crawlers?? I'm in chelmsford ma, and I do know about RC excitement, but can't really make it there as often as I'd like.

It's a great tool to help you find good locations for your RCs.

I second the google earth method.

Another suggestion is if you are on Facebook, see if there is any local R/C groups or bashing or crawling groups out there that regularly meet up.

When I crawled I always found great spots at local parks. Usually if there's a dry creek bed you can find some good features. The older the better, years of running water will wash away the dirt and expose the rock. Here's a few pictures from a few hundred year old creek at my local park.

My local city park has some good spots. Dirt, mud, logs, a rock garden, which is a wash down water catch, culvert.

Oh yeah, and if your on Facebook it's highly likely you'll be and to find a crawling group near you

I only live a few blocks from the Snake River so crawling areas are easy to find.
15 minutes from the Payette national forest, and it offers some incredible trail driving.

I'll second that! Many an adult coctail were consumed in those woods! Good parking and lots of trailheads to use.
I grew up HERE!
Its worth a ride. You can hike for hours in these woods!
