My buddy was taking done bashers out to the gravel pit/township area where you can dump rocks, branches, etc...by my house.
I remember that there were some rock piles when we've gone before so I grab my rig along with my Redcat Volcano 16
I also drilled new body mounting holes
I did end up losing a wheel. Well it fell off, I did find it. Apparently I didn't do a good job attaching the hub to the wheel and all but one screw fell out. But up until that point I was very very happy with how this thing performed. Way better than I expected it to. Incoming photo dump

So.
When I fixed the shock mounts, it meant the old body mounting holes were in the wrong spot
I put the new holes in, but then I was stuck with old holes.
I didn't care for that so I used some stickers I had to cover the holes
I'm satisfied with how it came out

So you might remember when I got the body, it didn't come with the decals.
I had to get creative
I just let the taillghts fill in when I painted it and it's always bugged me
I picked up this automotive tape and made my own taillights

If you want to dabble in a scale body for that truck this is the kind I like. The 79 Bronco generic hard body. It sells for as little as 70 USD online. Sometimes a bit less. Installing lights is pretty easy for it. A lot more budget friendly than most other bodies.

The Bronco by Traxxas looks like this Hardbody does. The hardbody has all the chrome and glass. Durable too.

Picked this up at a thrift store for $2
The body is a little too small for a 1:10 and too big for 1:24.
But I really just wanted the bumber.
I want to see if it will fit my 1:10.
It is going to take some creativity, but I think I can make it work.
Fortunately, I enjoy being mentally challenged
Test fit on the bumper in about 5 minutes with 2 pieces of Duck Tape
I THINK I might be able to make the interior work. It is narrower than the body, so maybe not
