Oh thats a bummer! Does the Comp Fox come with the Factor Team high clearance links? I have the FT links on my modded Enduro, and they are great, lots of clearance.
yes, and they are fantastic, really looks great so much so that i can't use this new set, it would be a performance downgrade sadly,

"We didn’t stop there. We also included some Factory Team hopups like steel pivot balls, high-clearance links, and threaded aluminum shocks to make the Enduro Comp Fox a fierce competitor on the rocks."

it really flexes nice and has excellent clearance, i wish id had a set to compare. i dodnt consider that the aftermarket hcl would be worse so instead of checking measurements i hit the buy now.

It happens bro. I have a few "upgrades" I ordered and later regretted prior to even opening the package. And I have also been guilty of not checking things out and hitting BUY NOW.

ordered a few brass bits, the 2 i mentioned previously.
as well as my magnetic body mounts. they didnt want to fit at first but after a little forcing and smushing, i got them to seat well enough to hold the body on very securely.
got a crazy busy weekend, but i will definately be taking the trail killer out on his maiden voyage this week

got some brass in for the fox, ( which i havent gotten the chance to drive fml)
of course i ordered the worng parts, and of course imn gonna use the wrong parts on another truck lol
they arent compatible with each other, can't install them both,
i put the wheel hubs on instead of the brakes,
i dont have any of the fancy schmancy weighing systems, but its noticeably front heavy while not being HEAVY,
i tend to go all overboard with the brass, i dig it, i like it i use it,
but this being a carbon fiber rail has me thinking i shouldnt just throw any ole thing on it and i should strive for that 60/40, or closer to it. i like just making the truck heavy so it stays planted, this trucks meant to do different stuff????
we shall see... alledgedly that is, i havent even gotten to run a trail since i "finished" it. life has just gotten all sorts of brutal

i got the reefs 99 micro servo in,

but foolihsly thought my other servo stuff would fit it.. nope
need to order a drum to wheel in the line, the reefs kit is 20 bucks, but it goes in behind a few other items in the list.
I'm nervous about such a small winch, but the truck is light so it should be fine

i had a few leaks in my shocks took them apart and reassembled them with a little more care than i did the first time, so far they have remained dry on the outside, ill check again later tonight.

i dont like having the battery on the side, i prefer it in the center like the ecto has, but theres not really room for that with this setup, gonna look into that a little more.

the body looks like its kinda tubbed out not 100% certain i want it to stay like that

then i printed out some ziptie standoffs that fit an m3 screw, and noticed they are only SLIGHTLY wider (2mm) than the plastic standoffs for the front shocks. it helped clea up some wiring nicely gonna replace one in the front with a 90 degree angle difference so the wires arent beding and just cause i can lol

still havent gotten it on the trail everytime i load it up to take it things go wrong and i end up not being able to sadly.

I've run a reefs 99 on my comp truck for a season. Small, but mighty. I've never had a torque/power issue, although its snapped my winch line several times, lol
glad to hear that! i trust this review more than all the youtubes to date
