I have an RC10T4 stadium truck that I will be racing. I haven't been into electric power for very long, and I still have A LOT to learn. I'm a noob with my nitros, but this electric stuff makes me feel like the nitro professor when it comes to what I've yet to learn. I have a Castle Creations Sidewinder brushless setup sitting right here on the desk. I haven't installed it yet because I want to get used to the truck with the stock motor, and when I'm putting down quick, and more importantly, consistent lap times, I will put the brushless setup in it.

I've got the 4600 kv sidewinder motor with the programmable sidewinder ESC. The system will handle 3S with the 4600 and 2S with the 5700. I've pretty much decided that I will go with a 2S lipo first, because it seems to be more versatile and handle more applications than the 3S, and I will be doing a brushless Savage conversion soon and I want to be able to use my batteries in both vehicles.

This is the battery that I'm considering. Do you know of a better battery for my application? Is this price fairly reasonable for this battery pack? I will be using Deans Ultra connectors, and one of these chargers.

Never have I felt so alone and so ashmed. Usually at least someone who knows nothing about what they are talking about chimes in with a really bad answer. Not even that.

My brother is using the Max Amps you have listed wth a deans plug and 12 gage wire with his CC Mamba Max esc and a 6900kv motor and he loves it, he told me he never even takes it out of his T4 and when it it will pull wheelies down the strait aways and the run time is like 20 minutes on one charge. Sorry it took so long to chime in I haven't been comp untill now....

Man that's good to hear. Lipo, hear I come! Anyone else want to make suggestions before I buy this battery?

I have the 8000 max amps in my RC10T4 with a Mamba Max 7700.....it will lay down rubber. It is cool, but keep going through tires like a mad man. The Ice is a great charger but you need a 12 volt power supply if you use it at home. A lot of newer car battery chargers have power supply feature. If nothing else getto out a computer power supply.....it puts out a good clean 20 amps at 12v-dc....

Yeah I really like the ICE charger but I would love to get one that has a built in power supply.
