What is the cheapes charger tower hobbies sells that will charge a trinity reiceiver pack.

You may want to substitute CHEEP for a charger that is a good value.

I have found that an inexpensive peak charger will save you money in the long run. Nothing is worse than finding out you have trashed your battery because you forgot to unplug it when it was finished, or loosing your RC due to runaway because your battery wasn't fully charged.

Buy good, buy once.

I use an MRC SuperBrain 959. It's an inexpensive peak charger. I paid about $60 for mine and they may be cheaper now. They can charge NiCd and NiMH batteries and work great. I can charge an RX pack in about 20 minutes and know that it's peaked.

i might get the mrc super brain. tower has it for 46.99

What is dc?

see - all u guys spend the money on these fancy chargers - and here i am with 4000.00 worth of rc gear and still using an overnight chrager for all my nimh and nicads in my tx/rx. ya know what though? i can run all day long and never kill my batts and just charge them at night when i get home.

I make a habit of recharging as part of after run maintenance as well. In the past I have gotten lazy and not charged. In a case like this its great to be able to be up and running in 30-45 minutes.

Have you ever forgot to unplug your overnight charger? You don't have to answer because we all know the answer to that one. There is no question that an overnight charger works but for me it boils down to how well, how long, and convenience.

The unit I have saved me money, time, and space. I have 1 charger for all my Nitro needs. RX charger, TX charger, and glow stick charger.

Another added convenience is being able to charge in the field. This comes in handy for those long weekend camping trips. Just another little ditty to think about before purchasing a charger.

Overnight is just that. Overnight. Sorry guys, I'm a product of the "I want it NOW" generation. Gotta charge in less than an hour. And with the peak feature, you know you've got it right. I'm just scared of those overnighters. Never know if you've got it right.

And highflyin, DC is Direct Current. This is typically a car or motorcycle battery. AC is Alternating Current. That means plugging it into your typical electric outlet. The SuperBrain 959 is AC/DC so you can use either source of electricity.

You mean you're not supposed to leave your battery on the charger when you leave home for 2 months, like I did? Luckily it was a trickle charger and it was only for my glow igniter battery rather than my my trans or receiver batteries.

dc is charged from a battery and i think it is charged from like a 12 volt battery and i am getting one for my b-day in 10 days and its fast
if u want an explanation of dc it stands for direct current where as ac stands for alternate current which is like the wall plug ins
