Castle motor going slower then VXL!!

I just converted over to the Castle 1410 3800 kv brushless motor with a Mamba Max Pro ESC. I am running a 19 pinion and a 50 spur and my slash seems to be going slower then with the stock 3500 kv VXL system. Is this normal?

Did you get castle link cable, you might need to adjust the ESC

I did get the cable. My max output is at 100%. Do I just need to gear this higher? It seems like it is going much slower.

Another guy on this forum had a castle in a CRT.5, and I think his was running in reverse, all he did I think was change the positive, and negative wires but you better wait for someone with more experience than myself.

^^^ +1 switch the red and black motor wire and then reverse your throttle in your radio.
